What Precautions Are Taken For Oak Wilt?

When pruning trees that are susceptible to oak wilt we:

• Sanitize our tools between each tree
• Seal fresh wounds with pruning sealer

We also encourage our clients to schedule most pruning during the months of July through January to mitigate the risk of catching Oak Wilt. Exceptions may be made for repair pruning, pruning to avoid damage to a structure, etc.
